Ayesha had been working on the new bat design which was water jet cut from 1mm aluminium being conscious of weight, forming, the environment and cost. With the tolerance of the water jet cutter not being as fine as the laser the distance between some of the holes became too narrow and snapped, which will be amended for the final prototype. The bats took about 40 mins each to cut. (JL)
