Bürolandschaft examines the way in which open plan environments are applied in an academic context. Open plan working was pioneered in corporate organisations but is increasingly finding favour in academic institutuions, particularly universities. The adoption of an open plan model often causes tension within institutions. It is these tensions that drove the enquiry and speculation of students within the group.
The findings were presented in a number of report documents which help inform Associated Architects with their own spatial design strategies.
