Zolid Manufacturing offer a bespoke design, fabrication and installation service tailored to customers’ individual requirements. The Zoild team, based locally in Lye, Stourbridge have many years of experience between them in solid surface fabrication in a range of materials such as DuPont Corian, Krion, Staron, LG HI-MACS and much more.
Solid Surface designs can be whatever you imagine it can be. Undulating, virtually seamless, organic shapes, bold effects of colour and translucency.
Zolid produce a large range of quality interior design and home improvement products ranging from kitchen and bathroom worktops to bespoke table tops and desks. They are seeking to expand their production range by releasing a new range of affordable lifestyle products for the domestic environment fabricated in DuPont Corian.
The design brief for students include lifestyle products packaged for online sales and distribution, designed with ‘minimalist’ manufacturing considerations and ideally sold for no more than £50. Design concepts were prototyped at full scale whilst exploring the quality and possibilities of the core material. Products designed include shelving system, cooking utensils, stationary organisers and display shelving.
