During the 7th Co.Lab session, we considered the use of archival images or drawings in the map. This would be useful for representing buildings that are have been demolished or buildings that were never built.
Using the ‘The digital archive of the Birmingham & Five Counties Architectural Association Trust’ we will be able to source illustrations for these buildings; http://www.bfcaa.uk/
A search for The Central Library reveals perspective drawings which show the intended utopian image.
