The original scheme was to create a new Tecton instillation which would derive inspiration from the existing Tectons, by abstracting forms for the original structures. The main reason for this would be to educate people on the structures and try to show people how the Tectons are all uniquely crafted, and provide an understanding of 1930’s modernist architecture
While going around the Museum I noticed that there was a lack of sign posting and mapping around the museum. This continued to be developed by the group by incorporating lines around the museum from the instillation directing visitors for the instillation located by the main entrance to the Tecton form they are most interested in. The instillation was to act as an education and mapping tool for the museum.
