Following the visit to Dudley Zoological Gardens each member of Group eight drafted a variety of designs to be explorer and discussed during our review. This allowed us to learn about individual strength the group would have, and what direction we were to take the instillation. All members were free to discuss their work during the meetings, giving us all the freedom to explore various avenues as well as combining aspects from a variety of designs. Another advantage to art and design student and architect students collaborating together, is how we worked in different ways, resulting in different processes in getting to a design concept. This allowed for a broad range of design strategy’s which would not have been contemplated without the collaboration.
