Model Development
The A level module the students undertake is heavily based around a final model. This gave us the perfect opportunity to guide and help them with their models. From many years of model making were able to show them different ways of developing their models and exploring different materials. Each project was very different and required different guidance.
Reflection
One of the main problems we faced in helping the year 13 students was the stage which we were introduced to their projects. When we were introduced to the year 13’s they had already had finalised designs and were already making their final models. This meant that the amount we could help in developing their design was very limited. We believe that if we were able to engage in their products at an earlier stage we could provide better guidance and advice in developing their schemes.
