Glossary term: Floorscape

Floorscape is the term used to describe street furniture, it is the physical context of a building. It is the spaces between buildings that may be occupied by Cyclist, Pedestrians and drivers. These includes paths, roads and crossings, other features such as trees, benches and public bins are all included in Floorscape. The context of a building gives the building a certain personality depending on the materiality and the features added.
