The initial scoping phase has now progressed to the second stage of the Production Show: Prototyping, Discovering, Analysing. The students are developing a display system that acts as a functioning working prototype as well as exhibiting artefacts from the creative process.
- The prototypes become the display
- We’ll develop a series of brackets that connects different technologies and components together
- There will be a staged assembly process to reflect the 5 stages of production show
- The production of the prototype system will begin with replicating Christopher Wool’s fixing system and attaching them to structures of differing scales and formations – eventually leading up to a simplified version of the existing scaffolding layout used for the external elevation.
The prototype will be on display for December’s Digbeth First Friday Event.
