When I started this project, I had no idea what to expect, I received the brief and had never looked into Brutalism, John Madin or the old library.  I had never worked with artists and was jumping into this project completely blind. Throughout the project, i came to appreciate not only the way that the artists saw the project differently but also their expertise in materials. Throughout this project we looked into the Ziggurat and found that originally the library was meant to be much grander than it finally became. Below was what the final model I helped make was based on, along with some of the original ideas of how this would be achieved.
