At the second workshop session we came up with more solid ideas that were based on the themes of music and motion, incorporating elements from the musical instrument, the piano. We decided on creating a screen that resembled a piano but also the flowing motion associated with music. We then proceeded to model a 1:20 scale of the screen. This brought up important considerations for our design, such as the type of frame required to support the screen and the aluminium strips, which alternated in colour.
