This week we have presented our proposal of the entrance screen for the new Birmingham Conservatoire. After measuring the opening from a facade elevation provided by the architects of the new building we have decided to create a 1:2 scale model of the screen to further explore technical details, particularly interested in joints and supporting structure. The screen will make reference to the graphic representation of music through keynotes.
We are looking forward to use the CNC machine in the following week to cut the shapes and start the assembly.
