After many tests with cardboard and aluminium, the final produce was ready to be made.
A 4x4cm wooden frame was used to support the cladding system which would be build at a scale of 1:2. We built the model high enough to fit in 2 rows of the cladding system and also of 1 window. The ones at the top is shifted half the width to the left (or right) so that each cladding is alternated giving a maximum amount of shading to the window behind it. note that the top of the bottom cladding (where the first horizontal frame sits) is where the floor begins in the building
Although there was a struggle to bend the aluminium after a few test trails, we managed to finish it with success.
