Friends of the School Scheme

interview slides 2012-13.pptThe Birmingham School of Architecture launched the ‘Friends of the School’ scheme in June 2012 as part of the Birmingham Made Me expo. The scheme provides a central network between recent graduates, alumni, local practices, businesses and organisations across a LinkedIn group – a forum to  share ideas, make connections, to reflect, debate and review key topics and events.

The architecture store at the Birmingham Made Me expo celebrated all the collaborations so far – featuring a number of practices, consultants and organisation we have worked with. In addition, the school’s Volunteer Critic scheme (as an extension to Friends of the School) provides a critical link between the professional and academic environments to all students participating in live projects or otherwise.

Co.Lab plays a significant part in this network, acting as a vehicle for potential collaborations between various parties and the school itself.

Join us on the Friends of the Birmingham School of Architecture LinkedIn group here to be part of the scheme and be notified of key news and events.

Note: you can request to become a member on the LinkedIn page.
