After the Interim Presentation we began to work more closely with the group designing the scene immediately before ours; Scene 4.i.
Both of our scenes take place in the same location of the play – inside the palace. And they run straight into each other – therefore the transition period between the two scenes is non-existent. To keep this transition as seamless as possible, and to ensure that both of our concepts as two seperate groups were realised, we began to design the stage set together – specifically the circular frame from which the fabric panels hang.
Sharing photos of final models, designing the final dimensions of the ring and creating final visuals was a group effort, and as a result there are some visuals and renders that overlap in both of our portfolios.
Where this is the case we have specified and referenced each other’s work, and always with permission from the other group.
