The 6th week session was the glass workshop.
Claire took us through all of the different processes that you can do with glass at the university. She also briefed us on all the safety around working with raw glass and the kilns because it can be a dangerous process.
One of the things we spent alot of time on was simply the cutting of the glass and how it will react when scored and broken. Its simple when your working with straight lines but as you work with more complicated shapes you have to use relief cuts.
