At the City Walk on Sunday 23rd October 2016, we were discussing iconic modernism buildings in Birmingham, such as Alpha Tower and the New Street Signal Box. We divided into sub-groups to further explore these buildings through a series of images and Scan the World. The production of digital models are done with intent to preserve the identity of the city.
As well as photographing these buildings on a large scale, I also documented the buildings at a more detailed level, specifically looking at the form and textures; this may be useful when considering detail and texture during the physical casting process.
