We spent the session understanding the importance of the storyboard in film creation and editing. We looked at types of film such as the ‘cinematic GIF’ and methods of portraying our group themes in a visual manner such as the Split Screen technique, as seen in the film- Run Lola Run. In order to express duality along the canal we explored the use of layers that could be used in the film. Poetry, soundscape and visual representation must all be combined in order to create a cohesive film.
