We’ve progressed our initial ideas and developed them into working prototypes for our event on World Toilet day, 19th November. We’ll be hanging posters (static strategy) in the toilets at Parkside for the week leading up to WTD and a few days after, as in the last post these will be the facts and figures of global sanitation, in the toilets, well, because. The topic areas focus around disease, women & children and economics; what are the conditions and challenges involved? We’ve also mounted our toilet to wheels, nah we weren’t joking before. The mobile strategy will take place on the Saturday where we’ll wheel the toilet across central Birmingham, aiming to discuss and raise awareness of the day. We’ve also started to piece together a small newspaper that we can hand out to people as well.
