The techie people at WordPress have kindly created an automated annual review of our blog. That’s nice of them. Some of it was actually interesting enough to share.
“The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 8,500 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 3 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
There were 291 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 424 MB. That’s about 6 pictures per week.”
The above graphic (from WordPress) indicates the posting frequency throughout the year, showing some clear patterns that correlate to the academic year. The busiest day of the year was April 16th with 252 views. (nb: probably because that was just before deadline day for final Co.LAB submissions!)
Visitors mainly came from the UK (6000) with United States, Brazil, Cyprus and India having over 200 visitors each. Malaysia, Italy, Germany, France and Sweden also had high visitor traffic to the site.
Exactly what we will do with this information, I am not quite sure yet.
