On our initial visit to the mosque, we decided to explore the surrounding context to see what other activities go on in Highgate. On the adjacent street there stands a Catholic church, this difference in religion seems to go unnoticed within Highgate but the fact that the two are entwined within the urban fabric suggests that Highgate could be a social hub with people of all faiths gathering.
