From brief discussions with the art students I identified a need for some form of breakout or “comfortable” space that could also be used for lone / group working if needed.
I looked into Japanese pod designs where small spaces are created from holes in walls, I thought about creating a moveable partition unit which embraces this concept, a unit that can be moved freely around the space, create surfaces for exhibiting work, individual work spaces and group breakout spaces. Whilst also providing storage.
