Just to summarise our design, what we’ve done is try to create a site that aids wildlife through planting and creating habitats, Allowing people to experience the site by giving them access to the water in a immersive way and give the opportunity for people to learn and explore the site in a new way through everyday technology.
One of the interesting things about the design is all the elements of the design can work individually as well as a whole, for example if funds where not available for any of the constructed elements the planted side of the proposal could still be executed at little cost as some of the plants can be propagated on site.
This is the CAD plan that I put together for our final proposal.
