BHM CO\\ABORATIVE LABORATORY:
is an award-winning interdisciplinary design and research initiative within the Birmingham School of Architecture & Design. We create and co-produce projects that engage with the dynamic context of our city and explore the extremities of artistic disciplinary boundaries – all through an ongoing process of collaborative practice
Today students returned to Chaddesley Corbett to see the new school building and present their ‘toy kits’ to the Year 3 pupils. Some interesting ideas were imagined as the pupils built their ideal pavilion. But it did lead to one kid asking whether we have chairs at university!
We will be developing the design for the pavilion based on the outcome of these toy kits. More to follow soon.
